Privacy policy
Effective 1 October 2026
GabaSet has no accounts and no advertising. What you practise and how you say you feel is recorded on your phone and stays there.
Who is responsible
GabaSet is operated by Resilience Counseling, PLLC, a Texas Professional Limited Liability Company (PLLC), at 4514 Cole Ave Ste 200, Dallas, TX 75205. Questions about this policy or a request about your data can go to robertclark@resiliencecounselingdfw.com.
GabaSet is currently distributed on the App Store by GENERATE EV LLC, which publishes it on behalf of Resilience Counseling, PLLC. Resilience Counseling, PLLC decides what the app does and is responsible for the handling of data described here.
Using GabaSet without an account
You do not sign up and there is nothing to log in to. The following is written to your device's own app storage and is not uploaded to us:
- Your practice history, including which sessions you played and for how long
- Course progress and streaks
- Mood check-ins, both when you open the app and after a session
- Preferences such as theme, day-start hour and zen mode
- Timestamps used to limit how often the app asks you to rate it
We cannot see any of it. There is no account to attach it to and no analytics service receiving it.
You can erase it in the app: open Settings and choose Delete practice history. That removes the recorded practice history and the mood check-ins on that device.
Your phone's own backup settings are separate from the app. If you back up your device to iCloud or to a computer, that backup normally includes app data, under the terms of whoever provides the backup.
Content delivery
The app fetches its session catalogue, artwork and audio from
content.gabaset.com, which is hosted on Vercel. Like any
internet request, those requests necessarily reveal connection information
such as your IP address, the file requested and the time, to the hosting
provider delivering the files. That provider processes such data to serve
requests and to protect the service against abuse, under its own terms.
We do not combine that request data with anything from your device, and we have no way to link it to an individual person.
Email you choose to send
You may email us for support or feedback, from Settings in the app or directly. If you do, your email address and whatever you write are received in our mailbox, which is provided by Google Workspace, and are kept there until deleted. The app does not attach your practice history, your mood check-ins or diagnostics to that email.
Please do not send medical records, therapy details, or other sensitive personal information to app support.
Ratings and the shop
Rating prompts are handled by Apple. We do not receive the star rating you choose. The app only records locally when it last asked, so it does not ask again too soon.
The optional Shop link opens an external merchandise storefront operated by Fourthwall in your browser. Anything you do there, including any purchase, is governed by that storefront's own privacy policy and not by this one. No checkout happens inside the app.
Analytics and tracking
GabaSet contains no advertising network and no third-party analytics software development kit. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
This statement covers the app itself. It does not speak for Apple's own App Store measurement, your hosting or email providers, or the external storefront, each of which follows its own policies.
Children
GabaSet is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Delete your recorded history at any time in Settings.
- Remove the app, which removes its stored data from that device.
- Ask us a question about this policy, or make a request about data you have sent us by email, at robertclark@resiliencecounselingdfw.com.
Because the app keeps your practice data on your own device and we hold no account, there is generally no personal information on our side to export or correct beyond email you have sent us.
Changes
If this policy changes in substance, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version here.
